If you have been hanging out with us on Facebook for the after party you might already know how excited I am to have been chosen as one of the 50 photographers nationwide to participate in the Beauty Revived 50 Most Beautiful Mothers campaign! And if you don’t know what all the fuss is about, you will learn right now.
“Beauty Revived is a photography movement that celebrates real women with real beauty. Photographers search out women who demonstrate attributes of real beauty and donate a session to them.”
But it’s so much more than just that alone. Michelle Gifford, Founder of Beauty Revived started this campaign with the idea that photographers around the world could help shape the perception of beauty. And as a photographer who photographs mostly women and their families, this project was right up my alley. Beauty is truly what makes you amazing from the inside out and through this campaign, I got to bless one mother in our community and help her celebrate her!
The selection process was so difficult! All of the stories were truly amazing and inspirational. But as I read through the essays, one story in particular spoke to me and from there she came to be our spokesmama for Beauty Revived. We collaborated on a beautiful session together that turned out better than I could have ever imagined. Now, the other great addition to this story is that she will get to be featured in the Beauty Revived magazine. And following that, 5 out of us 50 photographers will have the opportunity to be selected for an extra feature in Momazine, a print and online publication showcasing creative mothers and their talents from across the world.
