So I thought it would be fitting to follow the previous post with this one… haha nearly a month later. Well the title of this post says it all. In any case since I am actually a terrible blogger and I’m pretty old fashioned in the way I run my business I am considering just sticking to doing irregular updates rather than trying to “pretend” I’m actually a real blogger. I find it’s easier on me to be a better mom/wife/business person this way than try to stuff a whole bunch of things on my plate all at once which I will probably do anyway but at least I won’t feel guilty; and If I do 2 or 3 blog posts in a month then that will be a bonus! So I hope everyone had a fantastic Fathers Day, it’s been the greatest honor to see so many families connect and it’s been fun seeing juice stained, dragged to a photoshoot, sunglass rockin, kid chasing, monster hugging, throw themselves on the floor dad’s that have helped or participated in getting us some good portraits these past couple weeks. I bet everyday is an adventure with this round of dads and I’m sure each and everyone of you guys are blessed to have them in your lives.
Onto this very special image… first, let me say that I am a huge baby! Yup…. I cry at my computer when I’m retouching a session that is so powerful that the tears can’t stop from running down my cheeks. My throat gets dry, and I start to shake a little.. and while I try to hold back the tears I just can’t. This was one of those. Every *SINGLE* aspect of this session was purely beautiful. From the selection of clothing, to the old worn quilt, the lighting that morning and mom’s wedding veil that was incorporated into the session. The connection between father and son and even baby girl (but she was cat napping at this moment ;)) was a complete slice of heaven and mom had some equally moving moments as well that I can not wait to share so stay tuned!
