Today we are pulling from the archives….

Perhaps If I did this at least once a week I will eventually catch up on missed opportunities for sessions that for some reason or another never got featured here. Okay, maybe I would need to do it like three to four times so it doesn’t take me years to catch up but shh.. let’s not say that too loudly, I know I’m a terrible blogger! But one thing I am seemingly good at is capturing motherhood in beautiful light I’d like to think.

While looking up some spring images for an upcoming project I stumbled on Emily’s session. There is a lot to unpack here. First, of all how incredibly gorgeous is she? Second, this is probably one of the last memories I have of the sweet little field that used to be across the studio. As of today it stands as property for apartment complex which makes me so sad to see. It had the most beautiful flowers during spring and a dirt trail that was just perfect for photo taking. Another point here- this was a two part session. Part one with dad in a few and a part two at the studio and in the adjacent field. To say we got a lot in would be an understatement. It was filled with an abundance of snuggles, flower picking, beautiful light, flowy dresses and everything a motherhood session should be if I do say so myself.

P.S It’s still raining here in Memphis. Missing that Texas sun something bad lately….
