It was a wonderful time in Cedar Park with the Patino family. They’re some of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet, and it was such a fun session. We always plan out our photo sessions far in advance, so sometimes it’s hard to gauge the weather for the day of the shoot. When the big day was approaching, we realized that the weather would be overcast and misty, and not the sunny and bright day that we had been hoping for. We thought about postponing for another day, but considering the lovely mother was in her third trimester, we decided to just go for it – and we’re so glad we did! The grays and the mist in the park ended up complimenting the pinks, creams and blues of their outfits so perfectly, and the tan of the grass and the few lone, winter-kissed trees in the background made for some truly beautiful photos.

We love to build relationships with families and couples, especially such sweet and lovely ones like the Patino’s. They chose our signature session style, which is a customized and personalized option where we dive in depth with you to make your unique vision for your session a reality. That’s what we did with Mrs. Patino, looking at mood boards and color palettes to make for a consistent atmosphere. We worked together to choose things like flowers and accessories, to make sure everything was put together specifically for this cute family. The locations were something special as well: both Cedar Park and Champion Park were perfectly suited for the mood and atmosphere we wanted. Everything ended up coming together beautifully, and they loved their photos so much that they booked us for their newborn, six month, and one year milestones as well!

All in all, the most rewarding aspect of our job is to witness the true love between couples like the Patino’s. They were bubbling over with excitement for their new little one, and their joy was infectious. We look forward so much to capturing these special moments in the Patino’s lives, and we wish the three of them all the happiness and blessings in the world!
