Alright so let’s see if we can pick-up where we left off with the awesome senior workshop I attended last year in Vegas. The so so sweet Courtney Delaura styled up this beautiful boho inspired shoot. But be sure to stay through the jump though so I can fill you in on what’s been going on this summer! north-austin-senior-photography-girl-boho-luxe-vegas-workshop-pflugerville-photographer-texas

These girls were just stunning!

north-austin-senior-photography-girl-boho-luxe-vegas-workshop-pflugerville-photographer-texas-1 We just got through yet another temporary move. We are still local, but only half way through the process to what will be over a year long wait for the home that we think is worth waiting for. In case I lost you, here is a quick recap: We were relocated to Austin from Jacksonville, Florida with Mr. MHP’s job. Not sure exactly how long we would be here, during the 2014 holiday season it was confirmed that Austin, Texas (Pflugerville) would be our home for at least a few years. And so then, it became a green light letting us know it was time to buy a home here and plant some kind of roots. Thankfully, the real estate is booming and things were starting to feel like they were falling into place. We choose a beautiful (new construction) craftsman home right in the neighborhood we were already leasing in. No need to move very far and no need to even go through a school change again with the kids. We started the experience of purchasing a home from the foundation. It was wonderful picking options and interior design features. But as the home progressed we were encountering too many “oops” by the builders. After time, we just kept feeling like we were just settling and then it no longer became the home we thought were were buying. I mean after all, we were going to be living there every day. Needless to say we kept our eyes and ears open for a sign to help us make the decision to move on from the building process. It was tough as we did spend about 5 months of time seeing it all come together from the ground up. But in the end, I like to say that the right home found us. This time we are starting from the dirt so the foundation has not even yet been laid. This means that we even got to choose some structural options and there may or may not be a fireplace and a chefs kitchen planned in there ;)  But overall, we are SO SO happy with what’s to come! I will be sure to fill you in as much as possible and pictures…. I must not forget pictures ;)
