Today’s Throwback will be a part I of a 4 part series.
Around this time last year I had the wonderful opportunity to attend a styled high school senior workshop in Las Vegas called Luxe in Las Vegas. While I don’t specialize in high school seniors at the moment or even then, I thought it would be a great way to get a small taste of this genre before deciding if it was a session type I wanted to add to my list of services. I have photographed other seniors before, however, this one was unique in that the shoots were theme inspired which made it even more fun. This particular set you are about to see was set up by the wonderful Kelli France of Kelli France Photography and Chic Critique Forum, whom by the way already has such great fashion sense to begin with! For her this set was Parisian inspired, like only she could pull off so beautifully. We worked within a small group of photographers and there was PLENTY of time to get in some great images. Aside from the workshop images, I truly enjoyed connecting with the other photographers there. I think in a world where our businesses live behind the screen for the most part, it’s nice to see faces and hug people that you normally can’t see everyday and are passionate about the same industry. *Edited to add* Since then, they have had two more fabulous workshops so if you are interested in a future event you can check out the details here: Luxe in Las Vegas
